The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Sri Balaji Mahavidyalaya is a dynamic body established with the goal of maintaining and enhancing the quality of academic and administrative processes. It serves as a central hub for planning, implementing, and monitoring initiatives aimed at institutional excellence.

Objectives of IQAC

  1. To develop and implement quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities.
  2. To ensure a student-centered learning environment that enhances the teaching-learning process.
  3. To encourage faculty development through workshops, training, and seminars.
  4. To collect and analyze feedback from stakeholders for informed decision-making.
  5. To document institutional progress and prepare for accreditation and assessment processes.

Functions of IQAC

Quality Enhancement:

    • Formulating strategies to improve teaching, learning, and evaluation methods.
    • Promoting the use of technology and innovative practices in education.

Feedback Mechanism:

    • Regular collection and analysis of feedback from students, parents, alumni, and employers.
    • Using feedback to improve curriculum design, teaching methods, and campus facilities.

Faculty Development:

    • Organizing faculty training programs to upgrade skills and knowledge.
    • Encouraging participation in research, publications, and conferences.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

    • Conducting regular audits of academic and administrative activities.
    • Monitoring the effectiveness of quality initiatives and implementing corrective measures.

Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Fostering collaboration among students, faculty, alumni, and external organizations.
    • Encouraging active participation in institutional development activities.

Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintaining records of institutional activities and achievements.
    • Preparing the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) for submission to NAAC or other accreditation bodies.
